“Pelinti” — Buli, Ghana
Have you ever taken a bit of a too-hot-to-chew Pizza Roll, so you kind of half chew while inhaling cold air and making the “aaaarrrahh” noise? For Ghanaians, that moment has a word, “Pelinti.” It translates to “moving hot food around in your mouth.”
